Musa secured a win for Leicester city


Super Eagles forward finally got his first of the season for Leicester City in their 3 – 1 victory over Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium.

The former CSKA Moscow winger scored a cracker after he was given enough room at the edge of the box three minutes before half time.

Shinji Okazaki got the second for the defending Champions to put the lead beyond reach as Christian Fuchs sealed victory over the Crystal Palace. Yohan Cabaye got a consolation for the Eagles in the 85th minute as it ended 3 – 1.

Arsenal’s five match winning streak was halted by Middlesborough at the Emirates as Arsene Wenger side were held to a scoreless draw.

The Gunners thought they had won it right at the dearth when Mesut Ozil ran into an Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s shot but the referees’ assistant raised the flag for an offside.

Both teams had their chances in the match but both Petre Cech and Victor Valdes were brilliant as they kept scoreline the same. It ended 0 – 0.

Stoke City got their win of the season away to struggling Hull City with a 2 – 0 win. Xherdan Shaqiri unleashed a bullet from to put Mark Hughes’ side ahead.

The Swiss Superman completed his brace with a beautifully struck free kick from his favourite left foot to complete the win for the Potters .

At Turf Moore, Burnley capitalized on Everton’s inability to find the back of the net as Sam Vokes pounced on a goalkeeping error by Maarten Stekelenburg to put the hosts ahead.

Tom Heaton seemed the hero for Burnley as he made series of fantastic saves denying Romelu Lukaku, Kevin Miralas and Ross Barkley.

However, Burnley’s stubborn resistance was finally broken as Yannick Bolasie drilled in a shot to put the Toffees back into the game but Scott Arfield left it late for Burnley as he scored the winner before the blast of the whistle. It ended 2 – 1 to Burnley.

Tottenham failed to go top of the table at the Vitality Stadium as they played out a 0 – 0 scoreline with Bournemouth.
Moussa Sissoko was lucky not to have been sent off by the referee following an elbow incident on Harry Arter as it remained goaless.

Swansea and Watford also played out a 0 – 0 making it the third draw of Match Day 9 fixtures in the Premier League.

Winston Reid continued West Ham’s revival in the league as his 9oth minute shot for outside of the box gave the Hammers a deserved 1 – 0 win over Sunderland at Wembley Stadium.
