Seun Egbegbe, ex-boyfriend of popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, was beaten up at the popular Computer Village in Lagos, for alleged theft.
The Yoruba movie producer who reportedly caught stealing 9 packs of brand new iPhone devices.
Egbegbe was said to have walked into the phone shop known as Kaalcech Innovations and Consultancy on Medical Road in Computer Village on Tuesday morning, under the guise of buying the devices. He picked up seven iPhone 6s and two iPhone 7 phones and tried to escape in his waiting jeep.
This led to the salesgirl raising an alarm. He was apprehended by bystanders before he could drive off and the angry mob beat him up.
He was later handed over to the store owner identified as Mr. Kolawale Aleshinloye.
Aleshinloye contacted police, who came and took Egbegbe to Area F police station.
