Ghana midfielder Elizabeth Addo, says they are battle ready ahead of Wednesday’s Group B encounter against defending champions Nigeria at the Africa Women’s Nations Cup, AWCON.
The Nigerian ladies go into the game as overwhelming favourites following their outstanding performance against Mali in their opening match on Sunday.
But Addo who plays for Kvarnsveden of Denmark insisted that the Black Queens will be up for the fight against the seven-time champions.
She told GFF website, “Having played in Nigeria before (Rivers Angels), I know most of the Nigerian players and they know my abilities.
“We are not under pressure. It is just a normal game and we are going to have fun.
“We are very prepared. The Nigerians know us and we know them too.”
