Lessons from the life of Prophet Yusuf

For the sake of Allah, the Sole Defender of man, the Fair of the Judges, and the Sustainer of the world. He made His signs clear to us with the goal that we will contemplate; and sent His couriers so we will be guided. May His Endowments and Leniencies wait upon his noblest worker, Muhammad, his family, his allies, and his devotees – till the day of revival. Aameen. Respectable siblings and sisters in Islaam, we will in shaa Allaah be talking about an occasion winnowed from the lifetime of Prophet Yusuf (Alayhi salaam). Prophet Yusuf has been composed in history as the most great looking or lovely individual of his time. He had a significant stunner with the end goal that even the spouse of Al-Aziz (the priest) had slants towards him. This was depicted finally in section twelve of the Sacred Qur'an. Be that as it may, on what course would they say they were welcoming Yusuf (Alayhi Salaam)? Is it true that it was for a sermon or an exchange? Clearly not! It was for a lewd arrangement. Be that as it may, did he give the priest's significant other her demand? Obviously not. Rather, he stated, "O my Ruler! Jail is more to my preferring than that to which they welcome me… ." What a devout man – who finished such a permanent test! This is a story Allaah identifies with us so we might be guided. Allaah to be sure disdains the demonstration of unlawful sex. He advises: "What's more, come not close to the unlawful sex. Verily, it is an abhorrent way… . " Q17:32 Critical is the way that Yusuf (alayhi salaam) was even tricked by an affluent, excellent, and well known lady – the spouse to a pastor! It is an alternate case altogether today. We live in reality as we know it where these are ordinary acts, even among youngsters. May Allaah protect us from this offense. This is simply a plot from the fallen angel, to goad man into insidiousness bargains. That is the reason Allaah educates us to be unassuming in our dressings and to bring down our look. At the point when a woman dresses lewdly, the fallen angel whispers soil into the heart of the man. This would come like a tickle; then, it develops precariously until he falls for the wickedness. Allaah says in the Sacred Qur'an: "Also, concerning him who dreaded remaining before his Ruler and controlled himself from sullied fiendish goals , verily, heaven will be his home. " (A Naziat Verse 40). This, in other word, is a happy tiding for who controls himself from all types of wrongdoing. In this manner, Prophet Muhammad educated us to be cognizant concerning our dealings with ladies on the grounds that the main enticement to have come to pass for the Israelites was from a lady. He stated, "This world is sweet and stunning, and Allaah has placed you responsible for it to perceive how you will do and what you will do. Along these lines, be careful with this world and be careful with ladies, for the primary induction that came upon the Offspring of Israel was concerning ladies. " [Muslim, 4925]. May Allaah proceed to control and ensure us; Allah is Oft pardoned. He is prepared to tidy us up our missed, if we look for His benevolent actions, direction and apology : قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ "Say: 'O (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by submitting detestable deeds and sins)! Lose hope not of the Kindness of Allaah , verily Allaah pardons all transgressions. Genuinely, He is Oft Lenient, Generally Tolerant." Suratul Zumar Verse 53 May He excuse our inadequacies; may he give us assurance from all types of allurement and guide us to the correct way, Ameen.
